LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS EXPECTED IN THE NORTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC IN THE SECOND PART OF THE NIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING, REACHING 35-45, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 60 KNOTS. SEA LOCALLY IN THE OPEN INCREASING TO 5. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS.

A low and frontal system are slowly moving across the Adriatic eastwards, while a ridge of high pressure is expected to intensify from the northwest overnight.

SE and S winds 15-25, in places of the Central and South Adriatic up to 30, in the far south of the Adriatic up to 35, turning in the the North and Central Adriatic in the evening and during the night to SW and NW, and easing to 10-20 knots. Sea 3-4, in the open of the Central and South Adriatic 4-5. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder.

Strong and near gale force SE and S winds turning in the South Adriatic as well to NW and NE and easing a little, while in the North and Central Adriatic NE winds expected to be moderate to strong, in the Velebit Channel up to near gale force. Sea slight and moderate. Overcast with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, while partial clearing is expected in the North, then in the Central Adriatic as well.
