A ridge of high pressure lies over the Adriatic. A low centered over Sardinia is shifting toward the Tyrrhenian Sea.

NE winds 14-26, in the Velebit Channel up to 36, strengthening toward the end of the day to 16-36, in the Velebit Channel up to 44 knots. Sea 3-4, locally in the North Adriatic and in the open sea up to 5. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly cloudy and very cold with light scattered rain or snow, mainly in the open sea, while in the South Adriatic isolated rain showers with thunder are possible.
