A ridge of high pressure is still intensifying from the north towards the Adriatic.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
NE and N winds 18-36, in places of the Central and South Adriatic up to 48, gradually easing in the North Adriatic to 14-28 knots, firstly west and north of Istria. Sea 4-5, gradually calming in the North Adriatic to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but in the Velebit Channel still with a chance of a little wind drifted snow. Towards the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic variably cloudy with a chance of a bit of rain or snow.

Mostly clear. Towards the open sea of the South Adriatic through the night still variably cloudy with a chance of a bit of rain or snow. In the Central and South Adriatic strong and gale force, in places at first still up to storm force NE and N winds, easing in the Central Adriatic in the morning to moderate to strong. In the North Adriatic moderate to strong NE winds, gradually easing west and north of Istria, in the morning elsewhere as well, to light to moderate, and turning to NW winds. Sea moderate and rough, gradually calming in the Central Adriatic towards the morning to slight and moderate, in the North Adriatic to smooth and slight.
