SEA LOCALLY 5, FIRSTLY IN THE OPEN THE NORTH, DURING THE DAY OF THE CENTRAL AND DURING THE NIGHT OF THE SOUTH ADRIATIC. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS.

A low with frontal disturbance is shifting across the Adriatic further southeastwards.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
S and SE winds 14-26 knots, easing a little through the day and gradually turning to SW, then to NW winds. In the North, from the morning in a part of the Central, and till the end of the day in the rest of the Central Adriatic, N and NE winds strengthening to 16-32, in the Velebit Channel up to 40 knots. Sea 3-4, locally 5, firstly in the open of the North, during the day of the Central Adriatic as well. Visibility 10-20 km. Overcast with rain, showers and thunder, in the Velebit Channel with a chance of wind drifted snow during the day.
Weather forecast for the next 12 hours
Moderate to strong, in places up to near gale force, and in the Velebit Channel up to gale force NE and N winds, easing a little in the second part of the night. In the South Adriatic moderate to strong, towards the open up to near gale force NW winds. Sea slight and moderate, locally up to rough, mainly towards the open. Mainly cloudy with rain, showers and thunder, but partial clearing is expected in the North Adriatic from the middle of the night and in a part of the Central later on.
