A ridge of high is spreading from the northwest towards the Adriatic and a low is slowly filling up across the Ionian Sea.

NE and NW winds 8-18, in the North Adriatic up to 26, at the foot of Velebit up to 34 knots whereas in the evening NE wind locally again increasing up to 24 knots. The sea 2-3, locally in the open 4. Visibility 20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain and also possible rain showers with thunder, particularly in the South Adriatic.

Moderate to strong NE wind, initially also of near gale force still in places at the foot of Velebit but gradually decreasing and during forenoon turning to light to moderate SE and SW winds in the South Adriatic. The sea smooth to slight, still initially moderate in places. Variably cloudy with scattered rain and also possible rain showers with thunder in places.
