IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC AT FIRST STILL LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-40 KNOTS. A RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, MAINLY IN THE SOUTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC. IN THE MORNING AND OVERNIGHT A LITTLE CHANCE OF FOG PATCHES, MAINLY IN THE FAR NORTH OF THE ADRIATIC.
Synopsis
The Adriatic is in the field of mean air pressure, between a ridge of high pressure in the northwest and a low in the east, which is filling up slowly, while moist and unstable air is circulating in high levels.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
In the morning NE winds 6-16, in the Velebit Channel up to 18, in the South Adriatic SW and SE winds 4-14, turning during the forenoon to NW 8-18 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20, in places the morning possibly less than 1 km due to fog, mainly in the far north. Variably cloudy with a little rain in places and with a risk of isolated rain showers with thunder, mainly in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic.

Light to moderate, in places up to fresh NW winds. A little chance of fog patches overnight, mainly in the far north of the Adriatic. Sea smooth, locally slight. Variably cloudy with a little bit of rain in places and with a risk of isolated rain showers with thunder, mainly in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic.
