A ridge of high pressure is extending towards the Adriatic from the northwest.

NE winds 10-20, in places up to 24, turning in the afternoon to NW 6-16, in the South and Central Adriatic up to 20 knots. Sea 2-3, in the afternoon 3-4. Visibility above 20 km. Mostly clear, only in the far south of the Adriatic still variably cloudy with a risk of scattered rain and isolated rain showers with thunder.

Moderate and fresh NW winds will ease and turn again along the coast to light to moderate NE, only in the far south of the Adriatic up to strong in places. Sea calming to smooth, in the South Adriatic to slight. A chance of fog patches in the far north of the Adriatic. Mostly clear.
