IN THE CENTRAL, DURING THE NIGHT IN THE SOUTH ADRIATIC AS WELL, A RISK OF GUSTS OF SE, IN PLACES OF S and SW WINDS, 35-40 KNOTS, EASING TOMORROW MORNING. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, STARTING IN THE EVENING, FIRSTLY IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC.

A trough with frontal disturbance is approaching the Adriatic from the northwest.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
SE winds 12-20, in the afternoon in the Central and overnight in the South Adriatic as well, in places up to 25 knots. Sea 2-3, towards the open possibly up to 4. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but in the afternoon in the North, then in a part of the Central Adriatic, clouds increase, bringing rain, isolated rain showers and thunder in the North Adriatic late in the day, mainly in the open sea.

Moderate to fresh, in the Central and South Adriatic overnight and in the morning still up to strong SE and SW winds, turning in the North, then in the Central Adriatic as well, to light to fresh N and NW, then to SW and W winds. Sea smooth or slight, towards the open possibly up to moderate. Fair or mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder.
