Local gusts of NE and NW winds 35-40 knots whereas towards midday tomorrow in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic gusts of NE wind increasing to 35-55, in the Velebit Channel up to 65 knots. A risk of light isolated thunderstorms during the night and tomorrow.
Synopsis
A ridge of high is spread from the northwest across the Adriatic whereas a frontal disturbance is approaching from the north.

NE, towards the open sea also NW wind 12-22 knots but slowly decreasing to 8-18 knots. The sea 2-3, locally in the open 3-4. Visibility 20 km. Gradual cloud increase, then during the night a risk of isolated rain showers with thunder in the open sea of the North Adriatic.

The sea smooth to slight but towards midday tomorrow moderate locally in northern part. Variably cloudy and mainly in the open sea with isolated rain showers and thunder.
