Local gusts of NE wind 35-40 knots but towards midday in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic, then also elsewhere increasing to 35-55, in the Velebit Channel up to 70 knots. A risk of light isolated thunderstorms. From the middle of the night the sea likely 5, mainly towards the open.
Synopsis
A ridge of high is spread from the northwest across the Adriatic whereas a frontal disturbance is approaching from the north.

NE wind 6-16, locally up to 20, towards midday in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic, then gradually also elsewhere increasing to 14-28, at the foot of Velebit up to 34 knots. The sea 2-3, gradually intensifying to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy but mainly in the open sea with likely light rain or some isolated rain showers with thunder. Towards late in the day clearing up in the North, during the night also in the Central Adriatic, first along the coast.

The sea slight and moderate, in the second part of the night possibly also rough, mainly towards the open. Mostly clear skies. In the South, initially also in a small part of the Central Adriatic variably cloudy and mainly in the open sea with likely light rain or some isolated rain showers with thunder.
