NE, in the open sea also N wind 6-16, towards midday gradually decreasing to 4-12 and then turning to NW wind. In the Velebit Channel and in the far south of the Adriatic NE wind 12-22 knots, in the afternoon in the far south decreasing to 6-16 knots. The sea 2-3, still initially 3-4 in the Velebit Channel but during the day calming to 1-2 in a major part of the Adriatic, except in the far south and in the Velebit Channel. Visibility 10-20 km, towards late in the day and at night locally reduced to about 2 km due to mist and at night possibly also reduced to less than 1 km due to fog. Mostly clear skies.
