Synopsis
A trough with a frontal disturbance is slowly approaching the Adriatic from the northwest.
Weather forecast for the Adriatic for the first 12 hours
SE wind 6-16 knots. The sea 1-2 but in the evening intensifying to 3 in the Central Adriatic. Visibility 10-20 km, still in the afternoon in places possibly reduced to less than 1 km due to fog. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic there will be cloud increase and a low risk of scattered rain, mainly in the open sea. Elsewhere mostly clear skies.
Weather forecast for the next 12 hours
SE wind increasing to moderate to fresh and in the North and Central Adriatic to strong. The sea smooth to slight, during tomorrow forenoon moderate locally in the North and Central Adriatic. Cloud increase will be gradually spreading to the rest of the Adriatic, in places accompanied by scattered rain, mainly in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic.
