The high from the European land is spreading a ridge towards the Adriatic whereas the low is stationary across the Central Mediterranean.

NE wind 12-22 knots in the North Adriatic, in the Velebit Channel up to 26 knots, decreasing around midday to 8-18 knots and southwards of Istria turning to E and SE winds. In the Central and South Adriatic SE and E winds 12-24, decreasing around the midday to 8-18 knots. The sea 2-3, in the open 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably and mainly cloudy with scattered rain and rain showers, particularly in the open sea.
